How To Root Motorola Moto G


Moto G is an Android smartphone developed and manufactured by Motorola Mobility. Unveiled on 13 November 2013, the phone was initially aimed at emerging markets, although it is also available in developed markets as a low-price option.
























                 


The phone features a 4.5 inch LCD IPS screen, the Android 4.4 "KitKat" operating system and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, paired with the Adreno 305 GPU running at 450 MHz clock speed.The Moto G was released first in Brazil and some parts of Europe. It was released in Canada and United States on 22 November 2013 and 2 December 2013 respectively. In India Moto G was the comeback phone for the company's Indian subsidiary. It used the unique strategy of selling via only a single e commerce player namely Flipkart,this proved to be major success.

                  


 How to Root Moto G


There are are three simple steps:

(1). Unlocking Boot-loader:
(2). Flashing Custom Recovery [I used TWRP you can go for other recovery such as CMW].
(3). Flash Superuser.


Procedure:

(1).Unlocking Boot-loader:-
Go to Motorola site  Moto g unlock boot-loader and root only for unlocking[click here].

(2).Flashing Recovery :-

You need 3 things 
(a) Motorola usb drivers [ download ].
(b) adb drivers [download].


(c) Custom recovery [download]
I used TWRP or use can used CWM Recovery (4.4.4) click here for download.



Operation:

(1). Install Motorola usb drivers.
(2). Extract adb drivers anywhere in your computer.
(3). Copy twrp-2.8.7.0.-falcon_GPE.img [i renamed it to only recovery] into adb tools folder.
(4). Boot your phone into fastboot mode by pressing volume down key and pressing power key simultaneously , and then releasing power key .
(5).Connect your Moto g to your computer through data cable.
(6). Go into adb tools folder => while pressing shift key => right click => and click open CMD (command prompt) here .
(7). Type [fastboot flash recovery recovery.img] and press enter.



Flashing Superuser:

(1).Download superuser file[click here].
(2).Put this file into internal storage.
  Flashing  go to TWRP recovery=>select superSu-v2.45.zip==>>and done !!
